• 1. I got a new camera

  2. I got a new rock for my garden. It says DREAM.

  3. I got a new kitchen table

  4. I had lunch with my best friend from high School yesterday. A three hour lunch that could have easily went to 5 hours if we would have had the time!! We laughed our asses off and will see each other again soon! So grateful to FACEBOOK and her sister for bringing us together again….and grateful for all the others I’ve reconnected with so far…even if it’s not face to face. So much fun!

  5. After two weeks of auditions and countless phone conversations, Robert has hired a new sax/harp player who is phenomenal…and 2 new guitar players that will take his gig to the next level. He has been attracting many higher caliber musicians since Memphis and lots of interest from journalist around the country who are requesting interviews and CD reviews. Grateful.

  6. I’ve planned my island excursions for my trip…4 more weeks!!

  I'm doing a sweatlodge in Cozumel...then on to ancient Mayan ruins....bareback horse back riding in and along the Caribbean Sea and then on to see waterfalls in Montego Bay...swimming with dolphins in Grand Cayman.

  FABULOUSNESS. I want to start packing today. Maybe I’ll just start a list today.

  7. Riley potty trained herself…doesn’t get much easier than that! I still have 3 more in diapers but our goal is to get them all trained before summer hits. I think I’ll put Riley in charge of that since she is such a pro!

  8. Grateful that it is finally starting to warm up around here. My cat is thrilled too! And I’m happy that all the heavy, winter comfort foods will soon be off the menu. I’m always excited in the fall but by spring I’m really craving the lighter, fresher foods available in the warmer months.

  9. Cool dreams. I usually have strange dreams at night….but the last several nights have just been fun, exciting and cool. The kind that, when you wake up you want to go right back to sleep and continue the dream. LOVE THOSE.

  10. All my peeps who leave Michigan for the winter are starting to return home. YAY. I’ve missed them.

  11. I saw my neighbor hand feeding a squirrel the other day. I love that. I used to have a little guy that would take food from my hand…but one year he started losing his hair and looked rather sickly. I think he died.
